Shahid Dastghib Shiraz International Airport was established in 1340 and is also known as Shiraz New Airport. Shiraz airport became international 5 years after its establishment, i.e. in 1345, and is currently used for both passenger and military purposes.

One of the airport parking lots is located near the domestic terminal, one is near the foreign terminal, and the other is located between the two on the route between Gole Sorekh square and the airport square. One of the parking lots of the airport is in the form of floors with a capacity of 750 cars and the other two parking lots are open-air with a total capacity of about 1000 cars.
Shiraz Airport is located near Gol Sorekh square of this city and can be reached by private car and public transportation such as taxi, bus and subway.
To go to this airport using a private car, just go to Allah Square or Gol Sorekh Square. After reaching this square, you will reach the domestic flight terminal of the airport by going straight towards Shahid Shahcheraghi street. If you intend to go to the international flight terminal, you should go around after entering Shahcheraghi Street and reaching Shiraz Airport Square and take a detour to the right before reaching Gol Sorekh Square.
If you want to go to the airport using public transport, you can go to Shahid Dastghib station using Shiraz subway line 1. This station is located in Gol Sorekh Square and it is not far from the airport terminals. Apart from the subway, you can use taxis and buses that run 24 hours a day from different parts of the city to the airport. To use the bus to go to the airport, you can board the regular airport buses from Namazi Terminal in the center of Shiraz.
